Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN — Night Shift | Simpsonville, SC
Contract: 13 weeks | Shift: Nights, 3×12 (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Start Date: October 19, 2026
Clinical Scope
- Telemetry monitoring, EKG interpretation, and management of dysrhythmias
- Blood product administration
- Central line and peripheral line care/management
- Oxygen administration and nasal cannula management
- Isolation precautions/PPE
Interdisciplinary Support Available
Physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and unit secretary support.
Schedule & Float
- 3×12-hour night shifts
- Floating to other like units or nearby campuses is required based on census needs; staff float only to areas matching their demonstrated competencies
Required Certifications & Licensure
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Active South Carolina RN license
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Minimum 3 years of specialty experience required for first-time travelers
Additional Details
- Pre-assignment modules and testing must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login credentials (up to 16 hours of module time is reimbursable)
- Orientation is held on Mondays
- Flu vaccine required; no exemptions
