Dual-Certified Sonographer – Cardiac Outpatient | Columbia, SC

Echo & Vascular | 13-Week Contract | Days | No Weekends

This 13-week contract is open to dual-certified sonographers (vascular and echo) in a high-volume cardiac outpatient setting in Columbia, SC. The position supports a busy cardiology practice performing a broad range of diagnostic studies for an adult patient population.

Schedule

• Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM (9 hrs with 30-min break)
• Friday: 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM (4 hrs)
• Total: 40 hours/week | No weekends

Clinical Scope

• Echocardiograms
• Carotid duplex studies
• Renal duplex studies
• Upper and lower extremity venous studies
• ABI/LEA duplex
• Abdominal vascular studies

Required Certifications & Credentials

• RDCS + RVT (ARDMS pathway) or RCS + RVS (CCI pathway)
• BLS required
• Minimum 1 year of travel experience required
• Flu vaccine required; no exemptions accepted

Additional Details

• Scrub color: Galaxy Blue
• Distance requirement: Candidate must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible at full rate
• Float may be required to other qualified units within the health system as census demands
• Pre-assignment compliance modules required; up to 16 hours are billable
• Start date: October 19, 2026
