Labor & Delivery RN – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery nurse for a 20-week night assignment.Shift & Schedule
- Shift: Night, 3x12-hour (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Weekends: Every other weekend
- Call: One 12-hour shift per schedule
- Floating: Within scope of practice as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of L&D experience (first-time travelers welcome)
- Current RN license: Georgia or Compact state
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate required
- Clinical screening required to confirm fit
Clinical Scope
Key Details
- RTO (Requested Time Off): Maximum 7 days per contract; must be finalized at submission
- Orientation: 36 hours
- Holiday Expectations: Expected to work major holidays as scheduled based on assignment duration
- Compliance: All requirements must be completed by the Tuesday prior to start; delays push back start by 2 weeks
Support Services Available
IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, social services, and transportation.
