Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 12-week day shift assignment. You'll work Monday through Friday, 07:30–16:00, performing a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures across a diverse patient population.

Clinical Scope

You will perform HIDA scans, bone scans, lymphoscintigraphy, gastric emptying studies, myocardial perfusion SPECT, brain death confirmation imaging, I-123 uptake scans, I-131 whole body scans, I-131 ablations (<30 mCi), renal scans with and without Lasix, parathyroid imaging, and related procedures. You'll work with pediatric through geriatric patients in both inpatient and clinic settings. EKGs are preferred.

Requirements

• Current NMTCB and/or ARRT (NM) certification
• Minimum 2 years experience (first-time travelers welcome)
• BLS certification
• Georgia or compact state nursing license at time of submission

Schedule & Expectations

• Day shift: 5 days per week (no weekend rotation)
• Call availability: 1–2 days per week and every fourth weekend (Mon–Fri 16:00–22:00; Sat–Sun 08:00–22:00)
• Possible float to another facility location for STAT inpatient cases
• Maximum 7 days RTO; finalize all time off at submission
• Major holiday coverage may apply depending on assignment dates
• Scrubs: black, gray, or purple
