Med Surg Tele

Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN — Night Shift | Seneca, SC

13-Week Contract | 3x12 Nights (19:00–07:30)

This adult Med/Surg unit manages a diverse patient population including medical/surgical, orthopedic, and urology surgery cases. Travelers must hold solid MS/Tele experience and be prepared to float to other units based on census needs.

Shift & Scheduling

• 3x12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required (subject to change based on need)
• Floating to other units/campuses is required per census demands

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license
• Minimum 1 year of MS/Tele experience (2+ years strongly preferred)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must pass an EKG exam prior to assignment
• Minimum 1 year of electronic medical records experience required

Clinical Skills

• IV/PICC line management, port access
• BiPAP/CPAP management
• Blood product administration
• Heparin and insulin drip management
• Tracheostomy care, feeding tube management
• Wound care/wound vac
• Continuous bladder irrigation
• Colostomy/ileostomy care, surgical drain management
• Isolation precautions/PPE

Additional Details

• Orientation: 24 hours (begins Mondays)
• Pre-assignment modules must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login credentials; up to 16 hours of module time is reimbursable
• Flu vaccine required; no exemptions accepted
• COVID-19 vaccine not required
• First-time travelers will be considered on a case-by-case basis
