Labor & Delivery / LDRP — Travel RN | Night Shift | Seneca, SC

Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 3×12-hour shifts

Contract Duration: 13 weeks | Start Date: October 19, 2026

This LDRP unit operates as a Baby Friendly facility where RNs are cross-trained across labor and delivery, the circulator role, acute care nursery, and OB . The unit also cares for GYN surgery patients, and nurses perform their own newborn hearing screenings.

Patient Population & Acuity

Common diagnoses include preterm labor, preeclampsia, fetal demise, and post-hysterectomy care. The unit serves neonatal and adult patients.

Scheduling

• Call and float required
• Weekend coverage every other weekend
• Float assignments are limited to areas where documented competencies are on file

Required Certifications & Qualifications

• Active RN state license
• ACLS, BLS, NRP
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
• Lactation and STABLE certifications
• Minimum 2 years of OB/LDRP experience; first-time travelers may be considered based on experience
• Electronic health record experience required (minimum 1 year)

Pre-Assignment Requirements

Orientation begins on Mondays. Pre-assignment modules must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login credentials. Up to 16 hours of module completion time is reimbursable.

Extension Policy

Travelers may not extend beyond three consecutive 13-week contracts without converting to staff or taking a minimum six-month break. Travelers must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible at full rate.
