Cardiac Catheterization Lab – RN

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology labs. You'll work in a 3-lab cath suite and 2-lab EP environment, providing direct patient care and procedural support in a fast-paced cardiac setting.

Shift & Schedule

• Day shift: 5×8 hours (07:30–16:00)
• 12-week contract
• Call requirements: 1 weekend per month and 1–2 weekdays per week
• Weekend coverage included
• Float within facility scope of practice and to affiliated locations as needed
• Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years cardiac catheterization or interventional cardiology experience
• Current RN license (Georgia or Compact)
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• First-time travelers not accepted

Clinical Scope

You'll assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology procedures, central line management, IABP and Impella placement, procedural sedation monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and pre/post-procedure care. Patient population includes adults and geriatrics with a daily census of 15–25.

• Full compliance documentation due before start date
• Orientation is non-billable and varies by contract length
• All time-off requests must be finalized at submission; no requests permitted post-offer or during orientation week
• If major holidays fall during your assignment, you may be required to work them

Clinical screening by facility leadership required.
