Preop/PACU Registered Nurse — Manchester, NH

13-Week Contract | Evenings | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

This Preop/PACU position offers the opportunity to care for a diverse surgical population in a collaborative, experienced unit. All nurses cross-train and work in both Preop and PACU, providing well-rounded perioperative experience across multiple service lines.

Patient Population & Scope

The unit receives patients undergoing general anesthesia from a variety of procedural areas, including the operating room, cardiac catheterization lab, electrophysiology lab, endoscopy, interventional radiology, and obstetrics. Clinical scope spans preoperative assessment through Phase I and Phase II recovery.

Schedule & Hours

• 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM shift
• 40 hours per week plus call requirements
• No floating outside the unit
• 36 guaranteed hours

Certifications Required

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS

Additional Details

• Critical care background required
• Two patient care technicians support the unit
• Dress code: scrubs
• Start date: August 10, 2026
