Med/Surg Nurse – 13-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Med/Surg Nurse for a 13-week assignment beginning October 12, 2026. You'll provide care to medical, oncology, and telemetry patients in a fast-paced inpatient setting.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (nights)
• 36 hours scheduled, 24 hours guaranteed per week
• Every other weekend and holidays per unit rotation
• Navy scrubs required

Clinical Scope

You'll manage medical, oncology, and telemetry patients, including post-operative care and complex medication management. You must demonstrate proficiency in telemetry strip interpretation and acute patient assessment.

Requirements

• Minimum 24 months Med/Surg experience with recent experience in the last 12 months
• Active Colorado RN license (verified within 30 days)
• BLS certification (AHA, ARC, or ASHI)
• NIHSS certification (AHA, ARC, or ASHI)
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
• Clean background check with no license holds or restrictions

Location & Flexibility

Based at the primary facility with expected float support to other locations as needed. Flexibility with locations and departments is strongly preferred and expedites placement.

Start & Return-to-Office

Return-to-office must not exceed 7 days, with no RTO during the first week of assignment. You must be able to start on or within one week of the listed start date.
