Pediatric ICU (PICU) — Travel RN | Denver, CO

Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 13-Week Contract

This PICU opportunity places you in a specialized pediatric critical care unit managing high-acuity patients requiring intensive monitoring and intervention. The unit handles a diverse pediatric population across a range of complex conditions and critical diagnoses.

Shift & Schedule

• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Start date: October 26, 2026

Clinical Scope

The unit provides care for critically ill pediatric patients. Common procedures and responsibilities include:

• Conscious sedation management
• Care of patients in respiratory failure, including endotracheal tube and high-frequency oscillatory ventilation management
• Chest tube placement care
• Central line maintenance and management
• Venous puncture

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of current PICU RN experience
• BLS and PALS (required)
• Post-operative cardiac experience (preferred)
• Venous puncture skills (preferred)
