Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Emergency Department nurse for a 16-week contract assignment. This is a full-time position offering schedule stability and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (night shift)
- Guaranteed: 36 hours per week
- Start Date: October 19, 2026
Role Details
You'll deliver direct patient care in a busy emergency department, managing acute and emergent conditions across all acuity levels. Responsibilities include , ongoing assessment, medication administration, wound care, and collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure (North Carolina)
- Active BLS certification
- Emergency nursing experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to high-volume, unpredictable patient flow
- Professional communication and teamwork skills
