Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week assignment in a busy cardiac catheterization lab. This is a day-shift role with minimal on-call obligations, ideal for nurses seeking stability during a travel contract.
Role Details
You will provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care for cardiac patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures. The unit processes approximately 3 STEMIs per month, offering solid clinical volume and skill-building opportunities. You'll work alongside 5 full-time RCIS technologists and collaborate with a close-knit team of experienced staff.
Schedule & Staffing
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (40 guaranteed hours/week)
- On-call: After-hours availability with minimal callbacks
- Contract: 13 weeks
Requirements
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- Previous Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology experience required
- Advanced procedural skills preferred
Work Environment
- 2 labs with 5 patient bays
- Royal blue scrubs required
- Modern equipment and established documentation systems
This assignment offers the clinical engagement of a high-volume cath lab with the predictability of a Monday–Friday schedule and light call burden.
