Inpatient Pharmacist — Zanesville, OH | 13-Week Contract

This inpatient pharmacy role offers a 40-hour-per-week schedule with varied shifts in a hospital setting. The typical shift runs 12:30 PM–9:00 PM, with availability required for evening and weekend coverage. Weekend hours may vary based on staffing needs.

Schedule & Contract Details

• 3 x 12-hour rotating shifts
• Weekend and evening availability required
• 13-week contract | Start date: October 12, 2026
• Up to 36 hours per contract period may be subject to cancellation at the facility's discretion

Clinical Responsibilities

• Inpatient pharmacy operations with a focus on clinical accuracy and patient safety
• Pharmacokinetic dosing, with particular emphasis on vancomycin management
• Warfarin management and anticoagulation support
• Collaboration with clinical teams to optimize medication therapy

Requirements

• Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing
• Minimum one year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Proficiency in pharmacokinetic dosing (vancomycin) and warfarin management
• Familiarity with an inpatient pharmacy information system is preferred but not required
