Medical-Surgical RN — Night Shift | Chattanooga, TN

This 13-week contract (with a 48-hour guarantee) places you on a fast-paced Medical-Surgical unit supporting a diverse adult patient population across respiratory, renal, GI, and telemetry-related diagnoses. Night shift hours are 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, with 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Unit Overview

The unit is supported by Clinical Coordinators, Unit Secretaries, PCTs, and Case Management. You'll care for patients requiring telemetry monitoring, CVC management, indwelling catheter care, and heparin drip administration. Experience with respiratory illnesses, renal disease, and GI conditions is essential. Oncology and general surgery experience is a plus but not required.

Schedule & Float

• 4 weekend shifts per 28-day schedule
• Participates in holiday rotation
• Floats in rotation with regular staff

Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS certification (required)
• Medical-Surgical clinical experience, including telemetry and drip management
• Strong teamwork, communication, and critical-thinking skills
