Medical-Surgical RN — Night Shift | Charleston, SC

Contract Details

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Three 12-hour shifts per week
• Schedule: Every other weekend required; overtime available
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 48 per pay period

The Unit

This busy inpatient medical-surgical unit cares for both post-operative and general med-surg patients in a fast-paced environment. The unit is staffed with nurses, patient care technicians, and a unit secretary, and operates with two dedicated case managers and a social worker — making it a recognized leader in managing complex patient dispositions safely and efficiently.

Clinical Scope

• Wound care
• Intermittent urinary catheterization (I/O caths)
• Tracheostomy care
• ECG monitoring and bladder scanning
• Ultrasound-guided IV insertion

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• BLS certification
• Med-Surg experience required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential

Float Policy

PRN float as needed

Dress Code

Navy blue or white scrubs
