Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab/IR RN for a 13-week contract in Augusta, GA. You'll provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedural care for cardiac patients in a busy interventional environment.

Shift & Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• After-hours on-call availability (minimal callback burden)
• 40 guaranteed hours per week

Unit Details

The cath lab operates 2 labs with 5 patient bays. The team includes 2 full-time RNs and 5 full-time RCIS. The unit averages approximately 3 STEMIs per month, providing steady exposure to acute cardiac interventions.

Clinical Scope

You'll manage pre-, intra-, and post-care of cardiac patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures. Responsibilities include patient monitoring, medication administration, equipment operation, and documentation.

Requirements

• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Previous cath lab or IR nursing experience required
• Royal blue scrubs
