Emergency Department RN — Night Shift | Corpus Christi, TX
13-Week Contract | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 36 Hours Guaranteed per Week
This fast-paced emergency department in Corpus Christi is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week night shift contract starting late June 2026. The unit operates at a high energy level, managing a wide acuity range with a strong emphasis on neurological and cardiac presentations.
Clinical Scope
Typical procedures include STEMI management, Stroke/TPA administration, and rapid sequence intubation (RSI). The department is recognized for exceptional door-to-needle TPA times and efficient patient throughput.
Schedule & Hours
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of emergency department RN experience
- Active RN licensure
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, CPI, and either ENPC or PALS
- Strong neuro and cardiac assessment skills preferred
Work Environment
- High-acuity, high-volume setting with a seasoned, collaborative staff
- Supportive team structure with ER Techs and unit secretarial support on shift
- Preferred scrub color: royal blue (not required)
