Operating Room Nurse — Travel Contract | Glens Falls, NY

Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (flexibility to evenings as needed)

Contract Duration: 13 weeks | Start Date: October 15, 2026

About the Role

This busy surgical department covers all major specialties except cardiac and ophthalmology, with Labor & Delivery coverage for C-sections. The primary role is circulating, though scrub experience is a strong asset. Patient population spans pediatric through adult.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Pre-, intra-, and post-operative patient assessment and care
• Maintaining a sterile, safe surgical environment
• Patient and family education throughout the surgical continuum
• Monitoring physical and emotional well-being during the perioperative period

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of current OR experience
• Float experience across vascular, orthopedic, trauma, general surgery, robotics, urology, and ENT
• Prior travel experience
• Scrub and circulate experience
• BLS and ACLS (AHA) — must be current and uploaded with profile
• Active New York RN license
• Personal vehicle required

Certifications & Compliance

• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) required
• New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required at submission
• 14-panel drug screen required within 24 hours of offer acceptance
• De-escalation training (Welle, CPI, or PMCS) required prior to onboarding
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Schedule Details

• Call: Approximately 1 call shift per month as needed
• No weekend requirement
• All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of profile upload
