Medical/Surgical RN — Night Shift | Nyack, NY
13-Week Contract | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 36 Guaranteed Hours/Week
This Med/Surg opportunity places you on a well-organized unit covering three clinical areas: ventilator-dependent patients, orthopedic cases, and general medical/surgical patients. PCA techs are present on the unit to support nursing staff.
Shift & Scheduling
- 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekends and holidays required
- No on-call or standby requirement
- Floating possible within the Med/Surg service line
- 2-day unit-specific orientation provided
Patient Population
- Ventilated patients, orthopedic post-surgical cases, and general med/surg diagnoses
Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience
- BLS certification
- COVID vaccination
- Charting proficiency required
