Acute Care Float RN — Night Shift | Knoxville, TN | 13-Week Contract

This float pool position places you across a broad range of acute care units based on nightly staffing needs. You'll work nights on a 3×12 schedule (6:45 PM–7:15 AM) with every-other-weekend coverage. No on-call required. Block scheduling is not available.

• Medical (general, comfort care, nephrology)
• Surgery and GI
• Observation
• Oncology
• Orthopedics and joint replacement
• Neurology
• Vascular
• Pulmonary
• Cardiac and cardiac surgery

Position Details:

• Contract: 13 weeks, start date October 2025
• Shift: Nights, 3×12 (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM), 30-minute unpaid lunch

• Weekends: Every other

Requirements:

• Active, unencumbered Tennessee RN license or multistate compact license (must be in hand at time of submission — pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a comparable acuity setting
• BLS certification
• Prior charting system experience required for this role
• First-time travelers will be considered
• 2 references required (may be pending at submission)

Additional Details:

• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Orientation modules are non-billable and average 2–4 hours
