Medical-Surgical Telemetry Nurse

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Telemetry nurse for a 13-week contract. This is a day shift role with flexible scheduling options.

Shift & Schedule

• Day shift: 3x12-hour (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) or 4x12-hour options available
• 13-week contract
• Start date: October 23, 2026

Requirements

• 12 months of permanent Med-Surg/Telemetry experience
• Current, permanent Ohio license or current Compact State license in hand at time of submission
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications (NIHSS certification to be obtained prior to start)
• One recent professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in Med-Surg/Telemetry (Charge RN references accepted; references must be from assignments within the past 12 months)

Clinical Responsibilities

You'll manage a caseload of medical-surgical and telemetry patients, with responsibilities including:

• ECG rhythm interpretation and dysrhythmia management
• Continuous cardiac monitoring
• Patient education and care coordination

Onboarding

During orientation, you'll complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment. Acceptable scores on both are required to continue.

Compliance Notes

• Background check (no open cases or license hits)
• Drug screening required
• BCI/FBI clearance must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• This is a single-assignment commitment; you may not be submitted for multiple positions simultaneously within the system
