Med/Surg RN — Night Shift | Norwalk, OH
This 13-week contract places you on a Medical-Surgical unit providing care for a general adult patient population across a variety of diagnoses. The role is a great fit for first-time travelers who have solid Med/Surg experience and are comfortable in a fast-paced inpatient setting.
Shift & Schedule
- Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 3x12-hour shifts
- Every other weekend rotation
- Holiday coverage expected
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience
- Active Ohio RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- BLS and ACLS required
- Charting experience required
- First-time travelers welcome
Additional Details
- Float may be required in rotation with staff, consistent with your clinical experience and applicable orientation to any new unit
- Keep time-off requests minimal; no full weeks off during the contract and no requests in the first two weeks
- Any pre-approved time off must be documented before the assignment begins
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted); COVID-19 vaccine not required
- Smoke/nicotine-free environment
- Candidates who have worked at this facility as permanent staff must have a minimum 5-year separation before being eligible to apply
