Emergency Department RN — Travel Contract | Nights | Greensboro, NC

This is a 13-week night shift contract in a fast-paced Emergency Department managing a high volume and broad acuity of adult patients, including stroke, cardiac, and trauma cases. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3x12-hour shifts
• 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days per 6 weeks
• Holidays as needed | No on-call requirement
• 24-hour orientation

Required Certifications & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of ED experience
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required
• CPI, PALS, and TNCC preferred
• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam prior to starting (2 attempts allowed)

Clinical Scope

The ED treats adults across the full spectrum of emergency presentations, including stroke, STEMI, neuro-trauma, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injuries, orthopedic trauma, gunshot wounds, and more. Clinicians should be comfortable with:

• Arterial line and central line management
• Ventilated patient care, BiPAP/CPAP, IV vasopressors, continuous IV sedation
• Procedural sedation, blood product administration, ICP monitoring
• , phlebotomy, dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• ABG interpretation

Respiratory therapy is available in the department around the clock. Full interdisciplinary support is on-site, including pharmacy, radiology, social services, and interpretation services.

Compliance Requirements

• Active RN license required at time of submission
• No local candidates within 50 miles
• RTO must be submitted with initial application
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Floating to other campus locations may be required
