Med/Surg Telemetry RN — 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a 13-week contract beginning October 23, 2026.
Shift & Schedule
- Rotating 3x12-hour shifts: Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) and nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Shifts may vary to meet operational needs; the facility will make efforts to honor your preference
- You must work at least every other holiday
- Float assignments to related units and the emergency department as needed
Clinical Scope
You'll provide telemetry monitoring and care for medical and surgical patients on a monitored unit. ECG rhythm recognition is core to the role.
Requirements
- 1 year permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry (or related specialty)
- Active licenses & certifications in hand at submission:
- Permanent Ohio license or compact state license
- BLS (AHA or American Red Cross)
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- One professional reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) from work in the past 12 months
- Background screening: BCI/FBI prints must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
Orientation
You'll complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation. Acceptable scores on both are required to continue; you'll have a maximum of two attempts.
