MRI Technologist | Travel Contract | Charleston, WV

Shift & Schedule

Weekend coverage is the primary commitment: 16 hours per day on Saturday and Sunday (6:00 AM – 11:00 PM). The remaining 8 hours are covered on one weekday evening — Monday, Wednesday, or Friday — from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. Guaranteed 40 hours per week.

The Role

You'll join a collaborative MRI team where you will never work alone. Caseload is distributed across the department, averaging 20–25 patients per 24-hour period. The department serves adult acute care, ICU, outpatient, and emergency patient populations across a range of MRI procedures including abdominal imaging and MRCP.

Required Skills & Certifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered MRI technologist
• ARRT (MR) and BLS required
• IV starts required; PACS and contrast experience preferred
• Procedure experience: Abdomen, MRCP
• WV or Compact state license required (pending license accepted for submission; must be active by start date)

Additional Clinical Skills (Preferred)

Brain, spine (cervical, lumbar, thoracic), knee, shoulder, MRA/MRV, gradient echo, spin echo, surface coils, T1/T2 weighted imaging, CINE studies

• Radius rule: Permanent address must be 100+ miles from the facility (75–99 miles considered case-by-case)
