Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN | Milton, MA | 8-Week Contract

This Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit is seeking experienced RNs for an 8-week travel assignment beginning January 5th. The position is a 12-hour day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) with every-other-weekend commitment required.

Unit Details

• Acute Medical-Surgical patients requiring continuous telemetry monitoring
• No telemetry technicians on unit — all RNs are expected to independently read and interpret cardiac rhythm strips
• Float not required

Schedule & Hours

• 12-hour days | 72 guaranteed hours biweekly
• Every other weekend required
• Maximum 3 days of time-off requests accepted

Testing Requirements

Prior to acceptance, candidates must complete two assessments administered via Zoom:

• Dysrhythmia test (20 questions)
• Medication test (20 questions)
• Passing score: 85% | One attempt only — no remediation or re-sit
• Testing must be completed within 48 hours of confirmation; a study guide will be provided

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• 2+ years of recent acute Med-Surg/Telemetry experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Proficient ECG/rhythm strip interpretation
• Charting system proficiency required
