CT Technologist – Night Shift | Charlotte, NC

13-Week Contract | Nights | Friday, Saturday & Sunday

This CT Tech role is a weekend-exclusive night position serving adult acute care, emergency, and pediatric acute care patient populations. The facility operates a busy CT department requiring independent, experienced technologists comfortable working solo on nights.

Schedule

• 3×12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Fixed weekend schedule: every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Call rotation required (approximately 6–7 week cycle)
• No float requirement

Clinical Scope

• Abdomen and pelvis imaging, with and without contrast
• Chest CT, including vascular studies (pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta)
• Head and neck imaging, including trauma, carotid, sinuses, and soft tissue neck
• Spine and musculoskeletal imaging (cervical, thoracic, lumbar, MSK trauma)
• Multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) and region-of-interest measurement (ROI)
• Preferred: 3D rendering (MIP, surface-shaded, volume rendering) and vascular CTA
• Contrast preparation and administration, venipuncture, and peripheral IV starts
• Radiation safety and isolation precaution protocols

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT experience
• scanner experience required — technologist will work independently on nights
• ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) certifications required
• BLS required
• NC license or compact license (pending acceptable for submission)
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
