Interventional Radiology Technologist
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week contract in a fast-paced interventional suite. You'll support complex vascular and image-guided procedures in a collaborative, high-acuity environment.
Shift & Schedule
- Day shift: 4x10 hours (06:30–17:00)
- Weekends required; may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs
- Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- You may be floated to nearby sister facilities; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
Core Responsibilities
- Scrub and maintain sterile field during interventional procedures
- Assist with equipment setup and room preparation
- Provide circulating support for a wide range of cases
- Operate vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose)
Procedures & Scope
You'll support interventional cases including angiography (adrenal, renal, mesenteric, pelvic), angioplasty, embolization, IVC filter placement/removal, ERCP, thoracentesis, paracentesis, nephrostomy, ureteral stent placement, uterine artery embolization, and other endovascular interventions.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Valid compact state license (must be in hand at submission)
- Two professional references covering the past year
- Flexible scheduling; no outside employment conflicts
