Cath Lab Technologist
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week contract in Eureka, California. You'll work day shifts (06:30–17:00, 4x10 hours) in a busy cardiac catheterization lab performing 8–12 procedures daily.
Clinical Scope
You'll support coronary and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures, including:
- Coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)
- Peripheral vascular diagnostics and interventions
- Permanent pacemaker insertion and programming
- Hemodynamic monitoring and equipment setup
- Stent placement, angioplasty, and related cardiology procedures
Requirements
- Licensure & Certifications: ARRT (RCIS not accepted), Fluoroscopy Permit, BLS, ACLS
- Experience: Minimum 2 years; first-timers considered
- Call: Up to 4 days per week (varies by need)
- No weekend or float requirement
- Orientation: 30 hours

- Compact license required at submission
- 2 professional references required (covering 1 year within last 3 years)
- Must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- May be asked to float to nearby sister facilities if required by assignment
- All RTO/scheduling requests must be submitted upfront
