About the Role
The facility's MRI department is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join their imaging team. You'll perform a broad range of MRI studies including neuro, musculoskeletal, abdominal imaging, MRCPs, and breast exams in a fast-paced, adult-focused outpatient and acute-care setting. No cardiac imaging.
Requirements
- Current California Radiologic Technologist certification and ARRT in Radiology
- ARRT in MR preferred
- BLS certification required
- California IV certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience
- Valid California state license or compact license at time of submission
- Ability to obtain 2 professional references covering the past 3 years
Key Details
- Weekend Commitment: Weekends only, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (typically Saturday)
- Holiday Requirement: Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Flexibility: You may be required to float to nearby sister facilities as needed
- Pre-Approved Time Off: Request all scheduling preferences upfront during application
- Shift Flexibility: 10-hour shifts preferred; 8-hour shifts negotiable
What We're Looking For
Strong technical skills across standard MRI protocols, image post-processing, contrast administration, and peripheral IV placement. Comfortable working in a collaborative imaging environment with diverse patient populations (adults and geriatric patients).
