Cardiac Med/Tele – Night Shift RN
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a compassionate RN for its cardiac med/tele unit on night shifts. You'll provide direct patient care to a diverse population requiring cardiac monitoring, medication management, and telemetry oversight in a fast-paced environment.
Shift Details
- Schedule: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week available
- Weekends: 1 per week OR 2 every other weekend
- Duration: 16-week contract
- Holiday Requirement: Must work at least 1 holiday during contract
Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years acute hospital experience with 1 recent year in med-surg or tele
- 2 years of U.S. work history required for international candidates
- Willingness to float to other units as needed
- Flexibility to adjust to facility scheduling needs
- Reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Additional Information
Charge nurse experience is requested but not required. Training will be provided if you're interested in taking on charge responsibilities. Block booking may be offered but is not guaranteed. You must be prepared to work flexibly according to unit census and staffing needs.
