Cardiac Med/Tele – Night Shift RN

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced RN for its cardiac med/tele unit on nights. This 16-week contract offers the flexibility to work either 36 or 48 hours per week, with a mix of clinical and charge nurse responsibilities.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 12-hour nights (7 PM – 7 AM)
• Weekend Coverage: 1 shift per week or 2 shifts every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: At least 1 holiday per contract
• Charge Opportunity: Charge experience requested but not required; training provided

Clinical Environment

You'll provide care to cardiac and telemetry patients in a fast-paced acute setting. Responsibilities include direct patient care, monitoring, and charge nurse duties as needed. Float assignments to other units may occur based on facility needs.

Requirements

• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• 2 years acute hospital experience with at least 1 recent year in med-surg or tele
• 2 years of U.S. work history required for international candidates
• Willingness to adapt to scheduling flexibility; block booking may be requested but is not guaranteed
• Residency more than 50 miles from the facility
