Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Acute Care Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Acute Care Nurse to join the team on a 13-week contract. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment, managing patients across medical-surgical and telemetry units.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week (your choice)
- Every other weekend
- Holidays as required
- Must be willing to float to other units as needed
Clinical Environment
Requirements
- License: RN license in Alabama or Compact license (no temporary licenses)
- Education: Associate degree in nursing
- Certifications: AHA BLS and Red Cross certification required; ACLS preferred
- Experience: 2 years in specialty (or 18 months with 1 year recent experience in medical-surgical/telemetry nursing)
