Medical/Surgical/Respiratory – Travel RN | Wichita, KS

Nights | 4 x 12-Hour Shifts | 13-Week Contract

This medical/surgical/respiratory unit is a private-room setting managing a diverse patient population across general medical, surgical, and respiratory diagnoses. The unit demands strong clinical assessment skills, comfort with respiratory patients, and the ability to manage a varied acuity load in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Details

• 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 4 x 12-hour night shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Guaranteed hours: 48 per week

Contract Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start date: October 18, 2026
• Location: Wichita, KS

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (must be verifiable through Nursys)
• Current skills checklist (Med/Surg focus)
• Two professional references
• EKG competency exam required at onboarding
• Core competency assessment at onboarding

Immunizations & Health Requirements (Onboarding)

• MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza
• TB testing (2-step PPD or IGRA)
• Fit test
• Drug screening
• Health statement

Additional Onboarding

• Background check
• Education and employment verification
• Color vision assessment
