Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (no weekends, holidays, or call)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks

About the Role
The facility's mammography department is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist to perform diagnostic and screening mammography exams. You'll work in a focused outpatient setting with no on-call requirements and a predictable weekday schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and screening mammography exams, ensuring accurate positioning and high image quality
- Assist with breast biopsy and localization procedures
- Educate patients on procedures and address concerns professionally
- Operate and maintain mammography equipment per QA/QC standards
- Review patient history and prior imaging for comparison
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles
- Document exams accurately in RIS/PACS systems
- Collaborate with radiologists on findings and follow-up imaging needs
- Maintain MQSA compliance documentation
Requirements
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Mammography (ARRT-M)
- Minimum 2 years of mammography experience
- State radiologic technology license (as applicable)
- BLS certification
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Compliance with MQSA continuing education requirements
This is a straightforward outpatient mammography role with excellent schedule stability.
