Physical Therapist – Outpatient

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Physical Therapist for a full-time outpatient role. You'll assess, plan, and implement care for patients across a range of conditions including orthopedic, balance, deconditioning, and pain management in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently evaluate and assess assigned patient types
• Gather relevant clinical data from charts and collaborate with physicians and care team members as needed
• Recognize additional patient needs during evaluations and exercise sound clinical judgment
• Develop and document measurable, realistic, and attainable treatment goals
• Implement appropriate therapeutic interventions and equipment recommendations
• Regularly reassess patient progress and adjust care plans per departmental and regulatory standards
• Educate patients and families on equipment options and home exercise programs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree minimum (Doctorate preferred)
• Physical Therapist License in Texas or Compact state
• Current BLS certification (AHA)

Schedule & Contract Details

• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Type: Full-time
• Start Date: ASAP, with potential for temp-to-perm conversion
