Physical Therapist – Outpatient

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Physical Therapist for a full-time outpatient role working Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. This is a 13-week contract with potential for temp-to-perm conversion. Start date: ASAP.

Clinical Scope

You'll work in an outpatient setting treating a diverse patient population including orthopedic, balance, deconditioning, and pain management cases. Your responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
• Gathering clinical data from medical records and collaborating with physicians and care team members
• Independently evaluating patients and recognizing additional clinical needs
• Interpreting assessment results and establishing measurable, realistic treatment goals
• Monitoring and reassessing patient progress per departmental and regulatory standards
• Identifying and recommending appropriate equipment; consulting with patients and families regarding options

Requirements

• Doctorate degree preferred; Bachelor's degree required
• Texas Physical Therapist License (or Compact License)
• Current BLS certification (AHA)

Multi-Site Opportunity

Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings is highly preferred.
