Interventional Radiology Technologist
Position Overview
Join the interventional radiology team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You'll support a range of diagnostic and interventional procedures in a modern IR suite, working alongside experienced technologists and nursing staff.
Shift & Schedule
- Alternating shifts: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM and 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- On-call: 1 night per week and 1 rotating weekend per month (possible holiday coverage)
- 13-week contract
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
Clinical Scope
You'll assist with a broad range of procedures including:
- Neuro-interventional cases (stroke intervention, aneurysm repair, SAH management)
- Trauma-related procedures (GI bleed embolization, gastronomy tubes, nephrostomy placement)
- Vascular interventional procedures
The team typically consists of 2 IR technologists and 1 IR nurse during day shift.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months current acute care hospital IR Tech experience
- ARRT (R) certification
- BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with neuro-interventional procedures (strokes, aneurysms)
- Advanced knowledge of vascular interventional procedures with minimal supervision
