Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Travel Assignment

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in its Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging department. This is a day-shift role working Tuesday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM (36 guaranteed hours per week).

Unit & Clinical Scope

You'll work in a busy outpatient nuclear medicine and PET imaging center performing a diverse range of diagnostic scans. The unit handles cardiac imaging (including rubidium stress tests), oncology PET/CT, neurology studies, and general nuclear medicine procedures including bone, thyroid, lung, and endocrine imaging. Procedures also include sarcoidosis, PSMA, and neuroendocrine tumor imaging. You'll rotate across three distinct work areas within the department.

Team & Environment

The department runs with 5 full-time and 2 PRN technologists. You'll typically work with 4–5 techs per day shift in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Staff are experienced and well-tenured. No weekend on-call is required.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months current Nuclear Medicine Tech experience
• BLS certification
• ARRT (N) or CNMT credential

Preferred Qualifications

• PET imaging experience
• Outpatient stress testing background
• Cardiac imaging (CVIC) experience
