MRI Technologist
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in the imaging department. This is a day shift role supporting a busy outpatient and inpatient MRI program.
Schedule & Contract
- Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday; 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (4 x 10 hours)
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- On-Call: 1–2 nights per week; 1 call weekend every 6–8 weeks
- Holidays: 1–2 per year
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months current MRI Tech experience
- BLS Certification
- ARRT (MR) Certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Level 1 Trauma center experience
- Experience with ICU ventilated patients
Clinical Scope
You'll operate multiple MRI systems performing neuro imaging, administering contrast agents, and managing patients receiving anesthesia or IV sedation. Strong multitasking and patient care skills are essential.
Unit Staffing
The imaging department operates with 5–10 full-time staff. Day shift typically has 2–3 techs plus one in-charge tech. Your role helps support consistent coverage across all shifts.
