CT Technologist – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join its imaging department on a 13-week travel assignment. You'll work Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, providing high-quality imaging services in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
About the Unit
The CT department operates multiple state-of-the-art scanners and handles a high volume of stroke, trauma, and emergency imaging studies. The team is collaborative, supportive, and committed to excellence. You'll work alongside experienced technologists in a department recognized for its expertise in stroke and trauma imaging.
What You'll Do
- Perform CT scans including head, chest, abdomen/pelvis, and CT angiography studies
- Support stroke and trauma protocols with efficiency and precision
- Communicate effectively with nursing, physician, and support staff
- Work independently in a busy, multitasking environment
- Maintain high standards of patient care and imaging quality
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months current acute care hospital CT Tech experience
- ARRT (R) certification
- Current BLS certification
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting
Preferred
- Trauma and stroke imaging experience
- IV skills
