Travel RN – Med/Surg | Spine Unit | Englewood, CO

This 13-week travel contract places you on a specialized Med/Surg spine unit in Englewood, CO, caring for post-operative burn and flap patients. The unit manages moderate-to-high acuity cases with a clinical focus on complex wound and dressing care, making this an excellent fit for nurses with a strong Med/Surg or wound care background.

Shift & Schedule

• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Estimated start: September 22, 2026

Clinical Scope

• Post-op burn and flap patient population
• Wound and dressing care, ostomy care
• Equipment includes Hoyer lifts, air mattresses, wound vacs, and PCA pumps

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of hospital Med/Surg experience
• Active RN license
• BLS (required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Burn care experience
• Wound care and/or ostomy care experience
• ACLS certification

The team is collaborative and experienced, with a consistent staffing structure across day and night shifts. Staff includes charge nurses, LPNs, and patient care technicians working alongside travel RNs. A team-player mindset and positive attitude are essential to thriving here.
