Night Shift | 13-Week Contract
This Med/Surg assignment focuses on spine and post-operative care, including wound and dressing care for post-op burn and flap patients. The unit is staffed with a collaborative team of RNs, LPNs, and patient care technicians on both day and night shifts.
Assignment Details
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Start Date: October 5, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Clinical Scope
- Post-operative spine, burn, and flap patient care
- Wound and dressing care
- Use of Hoyer lifts, air mattresses, wound vacs, and PCA pumps
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of acute care Med/Surg experience in a hospital setting
- BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Burn care experience
- Wound care and ostomy care experience
- ACLS certification
