Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department on a 13-week contract. This is a night shift role (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with rotating weekends. You'll work 36 guaranteed hours per week with no on-call requirements.

Clinical Scope

You'll care for a diverse patient population across all acuity levels in a fast-paced emergency setting. Your responsibilities will include:

• Patient assessment and stabilization
• Airway management and intubations
• Laceration repair and suture removal
• Splinting and other emergency procedures
• Thrombolytic (TNK) administration
• Lumbar punctures
• Monitoring and documentation in the electronic health record

Required Qualifications

• RN licensure (current and valid)
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• TNCC and ENPC certifications required by start date
• Minimum 2 years of emergency nursing experience preferred

Dress Code

Navy blue scrubs or navy blue zip-up sweater. Pull-over sweatshirts are not permitted.
