OR Circulator – Travel Assignment
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced OR Circulator for a 13-week travel assignment. You'll work day shifts (6:30 AM–5:00 PM) in a focused surgical environment, supporting a team-oriented OR.
Unit Details
This is a specialized surgical unit handling 4–5 cases per team daily. You'll work alongside 1 OR RN and 2 surgical technologists on day shift. The unit specializes in orthopedic, plastic, and podiatric procedures including total joint replacements, lower extremity surgeries, breast procedures, and robotic-assisted cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Circulate cases with expertise in patient positioning, prepping, and draping
- Monitor surgical equipment throughout procedures
- Maintain sterile field and support surgical team efficiency
- Participate in on-call rotation (4–5 call days as needed)
- Float between surgical locations as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license
- Minimum 3 years' experience as OR Circulator
- Proficiency in orthopedic, plastic, and podiatric surgeries
- Willingness to accept trauma call
Contract Details
- 13 weeks
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Tuesday start date
- Call and float responsibilities required
