About the Role
The facility's Labor & Delivery unit is seeking experienced RNs to join a skilled, collaborative team. You'll provide comprehensive care across labor management, delivery, and postpartum recovery in a supportive clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage laboring patients through vaginal delivery and cesarean birth, including post-operative recovery
- Perform vaginal exams and interpret fetal monitoring strips
- Circulate cesarean sections and provide immediate newborn care (first hour of life), including breastfeeding support
- Manage high-risk antepartum patients with gestational hypertension, gestational diabetes, and other complications
- Respond to obstetrical emergencies, including hemorrhage management
- Perform outpatient testing: NST, CST, BPP
- Assist with procedures including cervical cerclage and OP injections
Required Qualifications
- California RN license
- ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications
- 2+ years' experience circulating cesarean sections and managing post-CS recovery
- Demonstrated proficiency in vaginal exams and fetal monitoring
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment
- Resume required
Preferred Qualifications
- Scrub/OR experience
- NCC certification in IP-Ob or EFM
