Med/Surg Travel RN — Night Shift | Salem, VA

This 13-week contract places you on a busy Medical-Surgical unit, nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), with 36 guaranteed hours per week. The unit focuses heavily on post-operative care, making it an excellent fit for nurses with strong surgical recovery experience.

Clinical Scope

• Post-operative patient care across a range of surgical specialties
• Drain maintenance and management
• Wound care and dressing changes
• IV therapy management

Schedule & Contract Details

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Start Date: September 22, 2026
• Guaranteed Hours: 36/week

Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS certification (required)
• Prior experience with post-operative patients (preferred)
• Proficiency in wound care, dressing changes, and drain management (preferred)
