Ultrasound Technologist – Diagnostic Imaging

Position Overview

The facility's Imaging Department is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join a day-shift team. This is a straightforward, Monday–Friday role with no call, no weekends, and no holidays.

Shift & Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30/5:00 pm
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 91-week contract

Required Credentials

• ARRT certification
• ARDMS certification
• Current BLS
• Continuing Medical Education (CME) compliance

Clinical Responsibilities

You will independently perform a full range of ultrasound exams including:

• Abdominal and pelvic imaging
• OB/GYN studies
• Breast ultrasound
• Vascular and arterial studies
• General diagnostic radiology procedures

You'll evaluate and communicate diagnostic findings to referring physicians and radiologists, ensure patient safety, troubleshoot equipment, and coordinate with service engineers for repairs. The role includes willingness to cross-train in other imaging modalities.

Additional Duties

• Organize daily work schedules and handle patient scheduling
• Maintain effective relationships with patients and clinical staff
• Follow departmental protocols
