RN – Telemetry/Medical-Surgical Float

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced RN for a 12-hour day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) float role across medical-surgical and telemetry units. This is a 13-week contract assignment.

Schedule

• 12-hour days, every other weekend, every other holiday
• Most Fridays will be required
• No extended time-off requests; no specific schedule accommodations

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years recent acute care experience
• Proficiency with telemetry monitoring and independent strip interpretation
• Ability to pass on-site telemetry competency exam (84% or higher; 2 attempts allowed on Day 1)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Strong adaptability to rotate across different medical-surgical and telemetry units

Clinical Environment

You'll float among multiple med-surg and telemetry units, managing patients across a range of acuities. The role requires quick thinking, independence, and the ability to adjust to different patient populations and workflows.
