Speech Language Pathologist – Pediatric Feeding & Swallowing
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist with strong pediatric feeding and swallowing expertise to join the pediatric SLP team. You will work across inpatient and outpatient settings, providing comprehensive care to children with complex feeding and swallowing needs.
Shift & Contract Details
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (8 hours/day)
- Contract Length: 6 months
- Hours: 40 per week
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of pediatric feeding and swallowing experience
- Independent completion of pediatric assessments
- Massachusetts State Licensure (SLP)
- ASHA Certification
- Current CPR Certification
Preferred Experience
- NICU and pediatric inpatient/ICU settings
- Tracheostomy and ventilator-dependent patient care
- Outpatient clinical feeding evaluations
- Familiarity with clinical documentation systems
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct feeding and swallowing assessments and interventions across inpatient, outpatient, and modified barium swallow (MBS) settings
- Collaborate flexibly with the pediatric team and attend all departmental meetings
- Complete departmental orientation and competency sign-off upon hire
- Adhere to SLP department standards for clinical care and documentation
- Report to the Pediatric SLP Section Leader
