Echocardiographer – 6-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Echocardiographer for a 6-week contract assignment. You'll perform non-invasive diagnostic testing to support cardiovascular patient care in a dynamic clinical environment.
Schedule & Contract Details
- Shift: 8-hour days, 40 hours per week; 8 AM start time
- Days: Monday–Sunday rotation including weekends
- On-call: None
- Duration: 6 weeks
- Location: Brockton, MA
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct transthoracic echocardiography and dobutamine stress echocardiography studies
- Obtain preliminary echocardiographic measurements and optimize image quality
- Summarize diagnostic data and communicate findings clearly to physicians and clinical staff
- Operate ultrasound, imaging duplex, and phono-apexcardiogram equipment
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient health information
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of echocardiography experience
- RDMS and BLS certifications
- Strong knowledge of cardiology, medical terminology, basic physics, biology, and anatomy
Nice to Have
- Bilingual or multilingual skills appropriate to the patient population
