Emergency Department RN – Night Shifts

The Opportunity

The facility's Emergency Department is seeking a skilled RN for a 16-week contract role working nights in a high-acuity setting. You'll join an experienced, collaborative team delivering comprehensive emergency care in a modern environment, including specialized geriatric emergency services.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 12-hour shifts rotating between 3P–3A and 7P–7A
• Hours: 36 per week (guaranteed 112 contract hours total)
• Weekends: One shift per contracted week, or two shifts every other weekend
• Holidays: Minimum one holiday per contract
• Blocked scheduling available (rotating or fixed: Thurs/Fri/Sat, Fri/Sat/Sun, or Sat/Sun/Mon)
• On-call: Optional but recommended; average 2 hours per week, available in 4-, 8-, 12-, or 16-hour blocks (7P–7A)

Clinical Scope

High-acuity emergency patient care across a busy department. Experience with diverse presentations, resuscitation, and geriatric emergency assessment preferred.

Requirements

• Active New York RN license
• NIH and AHA BLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years recent nursing experience
• 2 years U.S. work history (required for non-U.S. candidates)
• Residence more than 50 miles from the facility
